GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are available in amounts of $25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 and 250.00. Please indicate whether you would like us to send the certificate to you or the recipient and their name and address. We will include a current RareFind Nursery catalog, and there is no shipping cost for gift certificates. You may use a gift certificate for plants, books, labels, sales tax and shipping charges. Gift Certificates are valid for two years, according to NJ state law. Gift Certificates ending in "D" may not be used to purchase already discounted items. To Redeem a Gift Certificate: Please put the number and amount of the gift certificate in the "Customer Comments" field. You will still need to include a credit card number on your order, but we will manually deduct the amount of the gift certificate from the order total and only charge the credit card for any amount over the value of the gift certificate. Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Gift Certificates: Can I buy the Gift Certificates and use them for myself? Sure, we don't mind if you treat yourself! You can buy the certificates for yourself or a lucky recipient. Can I use the gift certificate for just plants, or also on shipping and sales tax? The gift certificate can be used for plants, shipping and sales tax. Can I buy the Gift Certificate online and have it mailed to myself so I can present it to the recipient? Yes, you can purchase Gift Certificates online and have them mailed to yourself so you can present them or we can mail directly to the recipient. Can I get a gift certificate for a different face value than those listed on the web site? Yes, we can customize Gift Certificates for (almost) any face value. Can I add a special message on the Gift certificate? Yes, if you wish we can add a recipients' name and your message( Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Congratulations etc) or we'll leave it blank so you can add a message yourself. Just let us know what to do! How long are the Gift Certificates good for? The Gift Certificates are valid for 2 years from date of purchase, according to NJ State Law. Can I use a Gift Certificate purchased on sale in conjunction with other RareFind Nursery sales or promotions? Sorry, no "double-dipping"! If you wish to use a discounted Gift Certificate to purchase items which are already discounted, you may use the actual cost of the Gift Certificate towards the purchase price. (We will apply whichever discount is greater.) Is there Sales Tax or Shipping on Gift Certificates? There is no sales tax or shipping on Gift Certificates. Sales tax is paid when plants are purchased. I need a last minute gift. Can you email gift certificates? Yes, we can email Gift Certificates. We also send a hard copy in the mail along with a current RareFind catalog. Can I buy Gift Certificates even though I live in a place RareFind doesn't ship plants to?
