R. (azalea) Evergreen
EVERGREEN AZALEAS Many nurseries offer evergreen azaleas, some in great numbers. We offer them too, but try to limit the selection to those that we think have unique qualities. Even so, over the last two years we have tripled the number of evergreen azaleas in our catalog. Our list consists of those azaleas that not only have interesting or spectacular flowers, but also have the foliage and growth habits that make them good additions to the landscape throughout the year. Note that many of the size measurements are horizontal for low growers.

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN 'Tradition'
Flower is a rich hose-in-hose pink. Excellent dark green glossy foliage. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN 'Treasure'
Flowers are white with a suggestion of pink on the edges of lobes and some spots on the upper lobe. Two to three flowers per truss with each being up to 4" wide. The habit is broad and spreading. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN 'Vida Brown'
Blooms early June. Ruffled, hose-in-hose flowers of deep rose-pink. Foliage is small and narrow, plants have an unusual flat-topped form. It's very slow-growing, and its dwarf habit makes it a good choice for bonsai work or that special location. more info

Narrow, pure white petals combine to make the flowers on this azalea a real attraction. Has a very compact, spreading plant habit. more info

(C8) A charming evergreen to semi-evergreen azalea species from Japan, kiusianum has tiny leaves on a dainty plant. Available in an assortment of colors. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN kiusianum 'Komo Kulshan'
(C8) Flowers are a picotee — red edged with a white throat. A favorite for bonsai, rock gardens and those who love dwarf foreground plants. more info

(C) A charming evergreen to semi-evergreen azalea species from Japan, kiusianum has tiny leaves on a dainty plant. Seedlings are light purple. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN macrosepalum var. linearifolium
This azalea is strikingly unusual with its long narrow ( 1/8 inch x 2 inches) hairy leaves and strap-like flowers of similar proportions. The flowers look like lavender-pink spiders at the branch tips. more info

This is a very low growing late blooming azalea with tiny shiny rounded leaves. The flowers are a brick red and bloom in late June for us. more info
