R. (azalea) Evergreen
EVERGREEN AZALEAS Many nurseries offer evergreen azaleas, some in great numbers. We offer them too, but try to limit the selection to those that we think have unique qualities. Even so, over the last two years we have tripled the number of evergreen azaleas in our catalog. Our list consists of those azaleas that not only have interesting or spectacular flowers, but also have the foliage and growth habits that make them good additions to the landscape throughout the year. Note that many of the size measurements are horizontal for low growers.

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN kiusianum 'Pat's Choice'
(C) The flower is a soft pink. Flower size is small, typical of the species, and produced in abundance. more info

(C) A charming evergreen to semi-evergreen azalea species from Japan, kiusianum has tiny leaves on a dainty plant. Seedlings are light purple. more info

(C8) This is a very low growing late blooming azalea with tiny shiny rounded leaves. The flowers are a brick red and bloom in late June for us. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN yedoense var poukhanense 'Pink Discovery'
(C8) The clusters of clear pink ruffled flowers decorate a sturdy upright growing shrub. As hardy as its lavender cousin. more info

(C8) Orchid-lavender flowers are lovely combined with yellow and white lepidotes that bloom at the same time. more info

R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN yedoense var. poukhanese 'Kimberly's Double Pink'
(C8) Mid-May bloom. Exceptionally clear pink double flowers, held in groups of four. Each flower is 2 inches across. In most climates, the foliage is semi-evergreen. The dark green leaves turn orange to purple red in fall. Very hardy and free flowering. more info
