Although Rarefind Nursery has offered daylilies in the past, Hank had a special interest in offering plants that were not available elsewhere; truly, "Rarefinds". When he discovered Bill had spent about 10 years hybridizing and selecting plants at his garden in Barnegat, he decided to offer them in the 2010 catalog. Never tissue-cultured. The offerings below are all divisions of the original stock plants. Daylilies are probably one of the best plants we know for a beginning gardener, or for someone who wants an easy-care, no-fuss plant with cheerful color during the hottest time of the year. Give them full sun if possible, average moisture and average soil, and you’ll be rewarded with flowers galore!
